BPL To Go Holds Pickup Scheduling

Select an available date and time slot to pick up your holds. Please only schedule a pick up time once you have received a holds notice alerting you that your items are ready to pick up.

Please note:

  • You must wear a mask
  • No public restrooms available
  • No other library services are available in person at this time

Please come during your scheduled time window. If you miss your scheduled window, please schedule another time to pick up your hold within 14-days of receiving your holds notice by visiting https://apps.bpl.org/bpltogo/ or by calling 617.536.5400.

*Only one reservation per day. If you wish to select a different time, you will first need to cancel your current reservation using the link provided in your confirmation email.

Central Library Holds Pickup

Pickups at the Central library do not need to be scheduled. Once you receive notice that hold is available, please visit Central during open hours:

  • Mondays – Thursdays from 10 am to 6 pm
  • Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm

Items will remain on the holds shelf for 14 days.

Branch Libraries Holds Pickup

Hold pickups at neighborhood branches require a scheduled appointment. Appointments are available during these hours:

  • Mondays – Thursdays from 2 pm to 6 pm
  • Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm

Schedule Your Pickup

Step 1: Select your pickup location. This should be the same library location you selected when placing the holds and identified in your "Holds Ready" notification.

Step 2: In the popup window, choose a date to pick up your held items.

Step 3: Available time slots will appear. Scroll down to browse and select one.

Select the pickup location of your hold(s):
